#WallaWallaWILL: How You Can Give Back to our Community

Walla Walla friends, community and family -- as we all navigate a tumultuous time together, we at Discover Walla Walla have been looking for ways to help our community and continue to support one another while practicing social distancing. #WallaWallaWILL overcome!

This city and the people who make this place home have given so much to each one of us at Discover, and we want to give back! But we need your help. We have a brand new #WallaWallaWILL merchandise collection available for purchase in our store. For every purchase you make from our collection, 50 percent of the proceeds will go to SOS Healthcare Services of Walla Walla.

SOS Health Services of Walla Walla is an immediate care facility that provides quality walk-in healthcare services to individuals without health insurance (or without adequate health insurance) in the Walla Walla Valley. They serve hundreds of patients each quarter thanks to their team of dedicated volunteer physicians, nurses, students, phlebotomists, and transcriptionists. At SOS, $35.00 will pay for 1 person to have an annual exam. $500.00 will allow them to purchase medications for a month.

SOS is providing a great service for our community, and we want to support them in any way we can. If you’re looking for a way to give back to your community, here’s a good way to do it. (And we happen to think the design is pretty cool too.)
