Gift Cards Support Our Hospitality Family: A Letter from the Watsons

To our Walla Walla Valley Community,

Hospitality is about caring for people that are strangers, visitors, friends and people that become new friends.

Over the last 19 years in business, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with MANY incredible people in this community. Those people have supported what we do and how we do it. We can’t wait to get back to those days again.

I’ve also had the pleasure of working alongside some great men and women over the years. They are truly the core of what we do. They are the faces that make your visit with us enjoyable and memorable. They are the 75+ chefs, general managers, servers, bartenders and hosts that keep our businesses running every single day.

I’d like to take the opportunity to present a way to support them by buying them groceries for themselves and their families in these uncertain times. There is no greater time for our restaurant family to stick together. We’d like to ask you to buy a gift card to any of our establishments (good at all three locations: Hop Thief, Red Monkey, and Stone Hut). This will help us ramp back up when the time comes to open to the public again.

We will donate 20 percent of the gift card proceeds to purchase groceries for our hospitality family from US FOODS. We have also raised an additional $4000 from community members towards those groceries. We will use the proceeds to purchase basic groceries from US FOODS and create bags for our hospitality workers to pick up. Milk, bread, vegetables, meats, dry goods, etc.

This promotion will run from March 30 to April 12. Thank you to everyone and as always we appreciate our community support.
